J2-12.jpg

We're at it AGAIN! This time hitting Richmond Center's J2 store with an awesome LRG window cling! This window cling is UV printed with a white base ink layer. The exterior adhesive cling is adhered with water and easy enough for anyone to install without wrinkles, bubbles or any of that ugly mess  you don't want.

Check it out if you are in the area and keep an eye out for our install at the J2 in Metrotown as well!

Here's another store front window we did for Timebomb Trading. Another great LRG display printed and installed by us this past week. If you are on, around or near 1042 Granville Street in Vancouver swing by Underworld and check out this display. We used an exterior adhesive window vinyl which has removable glue on it for an easier take down. We get great feedback from our customers on this saying that it's very easy to take down and with minimal to no mess.

LRG always has great displays and we love printing and installing them each time! Granville Street can enjoy the LRG panda and logo on the Underworld window for weeks to come.

When we saw the artwork designs that LRG clothing co., had come up with - we were thrilled to get the project rolling. Executing LRG's designs on one of Vancouver's largest and most prestigious windows displays (Boardroom on 1745 West 4th) was something we were keen to ad to our portfolio.

LAYOUT PLAN

LAYOUT PLAN

The design featured 3 different layers and displays medias. The background had a different image for each of the 6 massive window panes. A Giraffe, Geese, Africa, a Lion, and palm trees. LRG wanted their background to be on a flat enough surface to give it the most professional look and appeal. We suggested using our 450gsm banner material, carefully hung from the top with grommets to prevent any potential puckers or wrinkles. Our installation team did a fabulous job hanging the banners flat, and smooth enough making them look like a wall's surface.

The next layer featured in this 3 dimensional window display was grass. LRG's design featured real grass in between the backdrop, and the glass window. It added another dimension to the design, and made the overall look more appealing and noticeable. The display is scheduled to be up for 6 weeks so we chose to get fake grass to ensure it wouldn't rot or change color over the time period. The grass is mounted into Styrofoam blocks. We then covered the Styrofoam blocks with real moss to give it an entirely natural look.

For the third and final layer - it featured 2 large green strips of printed exterior adhesive window vinyl. PLUS a TON of exterior adhesive white cut vinyl. With over 300square feet of white cut vinyl alone - the job was massive, and we had to split the artwork into nearly 100 different pieces. All of the pieces were labeled, and put everything back together as it was stuck onto the window.

Shiny Fish Half Wrap

Car-Wrap-Rear-Right.jpeg

Shiny Fish aquarium & pond services came to us looking to re-do their fleet of vehicles. There previous wrap job created lots phone calls, and new perspective clients as usual - but they wanted a new design that was eye catching, and stylish. Sean Holland - the owner of www.shinyfish.ca - had this great idea of making the car wrap look like an aquarium and include different sized clown fish (Nemo's) swimming around. That way people would notice the clown fish in traffic and get the advertising attention he was looking for. We took his idea, sketched it out, and massaged the artwork until it was how he wanted. Check it out.

Sean also thought it would look great to have a giant Clown Fish staring at the drivers behind him while in traffic. I wish I could see the reaction of kids pointing and smiling at the giant nemo - while checking the rear view mirror.

Installation on this wrap was a breeze. The 2011 Nissan Sentra hatchback has minimal curves to it, making the installation simple and easy. The rear window perf was cut perfectly to the edges, & the wrap vinyl was tucked neatly around the edges of the metal body frame. A heat gun was used around the Nissan logo, and hatch back door handle. Again it's the small attention to detail that really sets our wraps apart from the rest. The passenger rear windows featured only partial coverage - yet we chose to go with a window perf material anyways to keep the full view from inside of the car. The overall fit and finishing of this wrap job came out excellent. It's the professionalism, and attention to detail that will give Shiny Fish's clients the best impression possible.

I personally enjoyed Sean's ideas and input for this job. It made the execution that much more fun to implement.
