Glory Awaits: A Look at the 10th Anniversary of the Dime Glory Challenge and the printing that came with it.

On Sunday, August 31st, Montreal became the center of the skateboarding universe as Dime and Vans celebrated a decade of one of the most unique events in action sports: the Dime Glory Challenge. For its 10th anniversary, the "greatest skateboard show on Earth" returned with a bang, bringing together 50 of the world's most talented and fearless skaters to face off against a series of challenges that defy both physics and sanity.

From the giant inflatables and foam hands to the branded blimp and ramp graphics, Blast handled it all. We were thrilled to produce these logos for the event."

This isn't your average skate contest. There are no rigid scoring systems or endless heats. The Dime Glory Challenge is pure spectacle, a showcase of creativity, skill, and a healthy dose of chaos. It’s an event where the goal is to entertain and push the boundaries of what's possible on a skateboard, all in front of a pumped-up crowd of 5,000 fans.

This year's edition promised to be the wildest yet, with five new challenges designed to test the physical and psychological limits of the competitors. While the specific outcomes are still rolling in, we know the skaters were faced with a gauntlet of a new, outrageous set of challenges.

This partnership between Dime, a Montreal-based skate crew turned clothing brand, and Vans, a cornerstone of skate culture, is a testament to the community-driven spirit of skateboarding. Their collaboration goes beyond the event itself, with the launch of the special edition Vans Skate Era Stub, a shoe that perfectly captures the heritage and forward-thinking attitude of both brands.

The Dime Glory Challenge is more than just a competition; it's a celebration of skateboarding's playful, unhinged, and fiercely progressive soul. It's a reminder that sometimes the most memorable moments are born from a desire to have fun and defy expectations.
