Transforming the Rink: How Custom Branding Elevated Jenn Gardiner’s Camp JG12

There is something undeniably special about seeing professional athletes inspire the next generation. When elite players invest their time back into the grassroots community, they don't just teach skills—they build confidence, foster dreams, and show young athletes what is possible.

That’s exactly what happened recently at Camp JG12, a three-day youth hockey camp hosted by the PWHL’s own Jenn Gardiner. With over 90 young girls hitting the ice, the energy was already electric. But at Blast Media Print, we wanted to make sure the environment matched the elite level of the camp itself.

We were incredibly proud to partner with Jenn to transform the rink, utilizing custom signage and event branding to create an unforgettable, professional experience from the moment the players walked through the doors.

Bringing the Professional Experience to Youth Sports

When creating an event experience, first impressions matter. For Camp JG12, our goal was to make these young athletes feel like they were stepping into a professional PWHL arena.

Our team worked closely with Jenn to design, print, and install a cohesive branding package that covered every corner of the facility:

• Photo Backdrops: Creating the perfect media-day moment for the players to capture memories.

• Rink Banners & Registration Displays: Setting a high-energy, polished tone right from check-in.

• Locker Room Signs: Giving each girl the true "pro athlete" treatment when they geared up.

• Branded Tablecloths: Ensuring every touchpoint felt intentional and premium.

Seeing the finished products in action was rewarding, but nothing compared to seeing the smiles on the girls' faces as they looked around the rink.
