Peak Achievement: How Blast Media Print Made Guinness World Records™ History on Grouse Mountain
As business owners, we’re usually moving at 100 miles per hour, completely focused on the next project, the next challenge, and the next deadline. We rarely give ourselves permission to pause, look around, and actually celebrate how far we’ve come. You don't spend much time thinking about milestones like this.
But this week, we were forced to stand completely still—and take in a view we will never forget.
We are absolutely thrilled to officially announce that Blast Media Print has been officially recognized by Guinness World Records!

Our team achieved the world record for producing and unfurling the largest flag ever displayed on a mountain—which happens to be the largest Canadian flag ever made. Then one day you're standing on top of Grouse Mountain holding a Guinness World Record certificate, and it all feels a little surreal.
Capturing the Moment
The energy on the mountain was unforgettable, and we were so proud to see the story shared across the country. You can watch the full broadcast and see the sheer scale of the flag in action via the CTV News Vancouver Feature.

A Mountain of Thanks
An achievement of this scale truly takes a village, and we could not have done it alone.
First, a massive thank you to Adam Rootman and the incredible team at Grouse Mountain for their partnership and vision. Thank you for trusting us to bring this massive dream to life on your slopes. We are so proud to have shared this achievement together.
We also wanted to elevate the moment into something deeply meaningful for our community. A special, heartfelt thank you goes to our good friend, the incredibly talented Marie Hui. Her beautiful rendition of O Canada helped make the ceremony even more memorable. Having her there to share this milestone with us made an already unforgettable day that much more meaningful.

The Team Behind the Record
Above all, this record belongs to our brilliant, hardworking team at Blast Media Print. Their dedication, meticulous planning, and refusal to back down from a massive logistical challenge are the reasons we made history this week. We are incredibly proud of them and grateful to everyone who helped make it happen.
Not a bad milestone for a print company from Vancouver.
We’ve hit a literal and figurative peak this week—and we can’t wait to show you what we bring to life next!
Had to secure the goods on the way home too!
