Coming Soon to Main Street: Helping Vancouver Find Its Perfect Matcha
Mount Pleasant is about to get a lot more vibrant. The team at Blast Media was recently on-site at 2833 Main Street—the former home of the iconic Goldilocks Bake Shop—to print and install the window hoarding for Emeri’s first permanent brick-and-mortar home!

More Than Just a Matcha Bar
If you’ve followed the local tea scene over the past year, you likely recognize Emeri from their popular pop-ups across the city. Founded by Josephine Au and Justin Ng, Emeri began as a passion project rooted in blind taste tests and a simple realization: everyone’s palate is unique.
Instead of claiming to have the "best" single matcha, Emeri focuses on discovery and curation. Their mission is to help you find the specific tea profile that speaks to you. To keep that journey of discovery alive, their new Main Street location will feature a weekly rotating menu of hand-whisked drinks.
The Installation: Setting the Stage
For a brand centered on curated experiences and high-quality Japanese tea, the first impression is everything. We produced and installed custom window graphics to build anticipation while the team works hard behind the scenes on renovations.
The new hoarding serves a dual purpose:
-
Privacy: Giving the Emeri team the space they need to transform the old bakery into a modern tea sanctuary.
-
Brand Awareness: Introducing the Mount Pleasant community to the sleek, welcoming aesthetic of the Emeri brand before the doors even open.

Quality in Every Gram
True to their "no shortcuts" philosophy, Emeri’s drinks are made with a generous five grams of premium tea powder and served with complimentary oat or soy milk. It’s that level of dedication to the craft that makes us so proud to handle their visual branding and storefront installation.
Keep your eyes on 2833 Main Street! The "under wraps" look won't last forever, and we can’t wait to see this passion project officially join the Main Street community.
