Inside the War Room: Transforming the LA Kings Locker Room for Draft Day

When NHL Draft Day arrives, the stakes are as high as they get. But before the general manager makes that first crucial phone call, an intense transformation happens right inside the facility. Here is a look at how we convert the standard LA Kings locker room into a high-stakes, broadcast-ready War Room.

Setting the Backdrop: Tension Frames

To block out the standard locker clutter and create a clean, professional aesthetic for the cameras, we install pressure-fitted tension frames across the back four to six locker stalls. This creates a solid, taut fabric wall that instantly elevates the room from a daily workspace to an executive command center.

Honouring the Legacy: The OG Logo

The Kings have one of the richest visual histories in hockey. To reflect that heritage, we are placing the iconic LA Kings OG logo directly beside the modern black logo that is currently installed on the wall. It’s a perfect visual bridge between the franchise's legendary past and its future.

The Centerpiece: 3D Table Logo

Every detail matters when the cameras zoom in on the management team. At the center of the action, a custom 3D LA Kings logo sits flat on the main war room table, adding texture and a premium feel to the broadcast framing.

Upper Branding: 3D Locker Accents

To draw the eye upward and keep the branding consistent across the entire space, additional 3D LA Kings logos are mounted directly above the locker cubbies, ensuring the top-of-frame looks just as sharp as the foreground.

The Finishing Touch: Angled Fabric Walls

To fully enclose the space and control the environment, we are looking at a "nice-to-have" addition: angled fabric walls running along the left and right sides of the main table. While these might not be fully visible on the main broadcast, they completely transform the energy in the room, creating an immersive, hyper-focused bubble for the front office.
